Stewart Hotel, New York

The hotel offers rooms with a kitchenette, which was a pretty convenient option. However, during our stay, we found the rooms in need of updating and encountered some creepy crawlies. There was detritus behind the bedside table. The service was friendly and the staff even gave my kid crayons and paper to color. The location is excellent, within walking distance to most of NYC's attractions and right by the A/C units. The dining experience was disappointing due to our initial disappointment upon arrival.

The hotel is situated in a fabulous location, very close to Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, and within walking distance of major attractions like the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Centre, and Times Square. However, the rooms were extremely dirty and not well-maintained, which was disappointing given the cost of the stay. Despite the spacious room with a balcony and kitchenette, the constant noise from the nearby elevator disrupted our sleep at night.

The hotel's location is outstanding, right across the street from Madison Square Gardens and close to main subway lines. The rooms were small for the price and only had 2 towels for a four-person room, with only a shower available, which was a bit strange and the cleanliness was questionable. The service was a mix of kind and considerate staff with excellent manners, but also mishaps like misplacing a package. The dining options were great and a good value, both inside the hotel and with vouchers provided outside to make up for any check-in mishaps.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was small but very comfortable, with 2 comfy full beds that were perfect for my sister, brother-in-law, and teenage niece. The closet space was ample, and the bathroom was spacious. However, the room was missing the desk space and electronics hub they advertised.

The hotel was located conveniently across the street from Penn Train & Subway Station and Madison Square Garden. The rooms were unfortunately not as expected, old, dirty, and different from the pictures shown, which was disappointing. However, the staff was super nice and respectful, making our stay pleasant.

The hotel rooms had a spacious and comfortable studio apartment feel which was great for NYC, but unfortunately, they were infested with cockroaches. The service was helpful despite some limitations, and the location was good with friendly staff, an excellent restaurant, and convenient access to different stores. The dining experience offered vouchers for outside eateries, though not specifically detailed, covering bagels, omelettes, and coffee. Some facilities were noted to be noisy, but the hotel was conveniently located near Times Square and Rockefeller.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The rooms were spacious by New York standards, providing great value for what we paid. However, being right beside the service elevator made for a noisy stay. The location was fantastic for exploring the city, especially being close to Penn Station and Madison Square, but some areas looked a little tired.
